Facilities
Located in Petrie Park and just a short walk from Montmorency train station, the Montmorency Scout Hall offers a large open indoor and covered outdoor space that is ideal for groups.
Our hall has just undergone a full refurbishment and has brand a new kitchen, new bathrooms and shower and the deck area overlooking the park is now covered.
The hall is available for use before school hours (eg a fitness clubs, training groups), during the day (eg a pre-school activity) or on weekends (by special appointment for approved functions).
Costs
Fees are based on an hourly rate, however we offer discounts for groups hiring the hall on an ongoing basis. We also offer onsite storage facilities for groups to store equipment on site when making an ongoing, regular booking.
We require a bond to be paid when booking the hall.

COVID Safe Hall Hire Guidelines
Montmorency Scout Group follow all safety guidelines as set out by Scouts Victoria.
Commercial hirers of the hall will need to provide and follow a COVIDSafe Plan that is specific to their industry. These plans must be submitted for review by Scouts Victoria before a hall hire booking can be accepted.
Private hirers who do not have an industry plan will need to follow the Scout Victoria COVID Safe plans. You can download a copy of the Scouts Victoria COVIDSafe plans here.
Hall hire capacity restrictions:

Private hirers must follow indoor private gathering limits for households, weddings etc. You can find details on current restrictions on the DHHS website.

All other hirers: As per Scout program limits. Please check the Scouts Victoria website for current restrictions in place.
It is recommended that hall hires booked well in advance of the proposed date should plan their event based on the current guidelines as there are no guarantees that future proposed easing of restrictions will occur on the target dates.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to keep attendance records and follow all COVIDSafe hygiene guidelines and cleaning protocols. Please check the DHHS website for current information and restriction advice.
